Recently I was inspired to do some charcoal drawing after seeing the tv series The Pacific which featured some charcoal work in its intro. Really good series, btw. I almost thought about ordering some charcoal, but then I remembered how much I hate getting my hands dirty. That is one of the reasons I gave up pastels and switched to oil paint. So, then decided to check if any of my existing digital apps on my Ipad mimicked charcoal very well. None at all. So looked online for one that would. Found Sketchbook. Here are first couple of attempts. I still have some learning to do but am happy with the app for drawing.
