18×24 oil on stretched linen canvas

Am having fun with this new technique. Also painting over older paintings, the last few haven been, that were not keepers from awhile back. This one though, the underpainting was so very textured, getting a smooth brush stroke was a challenge. Now just about out of old canvases to plunder, and about to start new ones.
