Am enjoying doing some paintings just using black and white.  This is different than an underpainting.  It is a good challenge to test your sense of  values devoid of any color.   This is based on a photo taken on the side streets of Seattle.  Reminding me why I love B/W photographs.  But painted this using a color photograph.  No cheating!!!!
